The Red Lion

The Red Lion has a large dining area, with disabled entrance, for family and friends to get together. Our small snug bar has a cosy traditional feel and during the cold winter months you can enjoy food and drink by our open fire and in the summer there’s our pub garden to experience.

FOOD and DRINK

We care about our food. The quality of the products that we source and the care that we take with them to produce great food is of paramount importance to us.

Events

With events on throughout the year there is always a fun reason to visit us

Great food and drink

Andy, Lesley and the team welcome you to the Red Lion, Woolverton, a traditional English pub situated on the A36 between Warminster and Bath.

Customers can sample our home cooked food served every day with weekly seasonal specials, a gluten free menu and Roasts every Sunday.   We have a range of real ales including Wadworth cask ales and the famous 6X with a seasonal ale also available.   Our new wine list and gin menu offer New and Old-World wines alongside premium gins from around the world.

The Red Lion is within easy reach of many places of interest and outstanding beauty including Longleat House, one of the most magnificent stately homes and gardens with its safari park, the ancient city of Bath and the historic town of Bradford Upon Avon.  There is also the American Museum close by in Claverton for those interested in American history.

Families are welcome, and if you bring your dog -   there is always a biscuit treat for them too.  Why not come and enjoy our Sunday roast available from 12 noon through to 7.00pm every Sunday.  There is a large car park, children's play area and free Wi-Fi - we are the ideal 'stop off' on the A36.

We look forward to welcoming you on your first visit to us and each visit after that.
